Services and Fees

Below is a brief summary of services I provide and associated fees.

These are a starting point, please get in touch below to request a project quote.

  • I am available to book for in-person recording sessions, playing soprano, alto, tenor saxophones, Bb and A and Bass clarinets, flute, piccolo and bass vocals.

    Baritone saxophone can be requested, subject to rental cost being covered.

    My session fees are inline with MU BPI agreement rates (so long as no other MU agreements already apply to the work). Fees start at £130 for 3 hours session time/20 minutes of recorded music. Additional 25% for doubling, additional 40% for trebling.

  • I can record woodwind parts for you from my home studio, delivery can be in the form of individual audio files for each cue or instrument, or mixed down "stems" with some light mixing.

    Starts at £100 per 3 hours of recording time, or 20 minutes of music. Additional 25% for doubling, additional 40% for trebling.

    Instruments available are soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, Bb, A and bass clarinets, flute, piccolo and bass vocals. Baritone saxophone is available subject to additional hire fee.

  • I teach saxophone, clarinet, flute, basic music theory and music production on a private basis.

    My fees start at £45 per hour, plus travel time and cost.

  • Some of the work I have enjoyed the most is being brought in by composers to play through some of their new musical ideas for upcoming projects. I can offer feedback on idiomatic writing for the instruments - including recommendations on improving the playability in terms of range, ergonomics, articulations and appropriate extended techniques - or we can delve into the nitty gritty of final score preparation and engraving to make parts more readable.

    If you also want to take some short recordings for the purposes of private mock-ups or inspiration (but not for sampling or any form of commercial release), this is the service for you.

    Fees start at £150 per day (10:00-18:00 with a one hour lunch break and two 20 minute breaks).
